How the access score is calculated.
Each profile is a 0–100 mapped-access total. The numbers below are the same weights the live scan uses. They measure proximity and choice on the map — never crime, rent, school quality, or timetable minutes.

How points are awarded
Count factors (schools, pubs…): none in radius = 0; one = 60% of the weight; two = 85%; three or more = full weight.
Nearest-place factors (GP, gym, hospital…): full points inside 40% of the search radius, tapering to 30% of the weight at the edge.
University and city hub: 70% from map distance (capped at 40 km / 100 km), 30% from whether a rail station is inside the amenity radius.
What the score is not
No crime rating, no school grades, no rent estimate, no S-Bahn minutes. Distances are as the crow flies. If map data is missing, that factor is zero rather than guessed.
Data confidence is separate
The confidence percentage on results is completeness of map tags (name, address, hours, contact) — not the access score, and not venue quality.
