# Kiezly

Kiezly is for expats, relocating professionals, and anyone comparing addresses
before signing a lease. No account is required.

## What Kiezly is

- A **free** web app at https://kiezly.eu
- **Country selector** — EU, EFTA and the UK, with the matching address fields
  (street + city required). Germany is the default.
- **Address-level** lookup, not a ranking of “best neighbourhoods”
- Live map data (OpenStreetMap and map providers)
- UI in the official languages of supported European countries (English and
  German complete; others fall back to English where a translation is missing)

6. Privacy-first: analytics only after consent; research stores a 4-digit
   PLZ prefix for German searches, never the street or full postcode. Searches
   in other countries are not written to the research store.

## Scores (cite these definitions only)

- **Data-confidence score** — how complete the underlying map records are
  (name, address, hours, contact). Never venue quality.
- **Access scores** (Families, Working, Students) — mapped proximity to
  amenities and key distances (hospital, airport, university, schools).
  University and the nearest city hub use map distance plus whether a rail
  station is in the search radius — not timetable minutes.
